Cornilius Payne is a focused and bright young man, he is the father of two buetiful girls, and Conrilius plans on becoming a leader in his community. He will achieve this through his martial arts, Fight Card Entertainment is pleased to have ‘Peace Payne’ competing on September 1st.
Q: Why did you decide to start training in mixed martial arts?
A: “Since I was a kid I always admired martial artists, so I did my research and started training with Imazaki dojo.”
Q: What motivates you to compete?
A: “The hunger to learn more and the desire to become better than I was yesterday, and of course my two daughters, they are everything to me.”
Q: If you were not competing in mixed martial arts what would you be doing?
A: “I’d probably be making music or be a motivational speaker.”
Q: How long have you been training?
A: “Just about two years now.”
Q: Did you find all the training hard to get used to?
A: “I have always been athletic from playing sports nearly my whole life, so getting in shape wasn’t too tough.”
Q: What gym do you train at?
A: “I train at Imazaki dojo, TDC south-loop jiu jitsu.”
Q: How would you describe your fighting style?
A: “Very agile, accurate, sharp, my technique is strong and I’m aggressive.”
Q: What’s your motto?
A: “It’s not about how hard you get hit, it’s about how hard you get hit and keep on going.”
