AKI MATSUDA WINS BY SUBMISSION IN 3RD ROUND

Aki Matsuda, a member of Team Airwolf/Ramrod fought against Camron Monyelle.

This fight definitely tested both fighters on their ground skills and endurance, since the fight was fought on the ground for the most part.

In :48 seconds of the 3rd Round, Matsuda caught Monyelle in a Choke and defeated him by Submission.

Performance: 

When asked if the fight went his way, Matsuda said, "Well, yea, it did kind of go my way because I wanted to bring it to the 3rd Round. I had never fought in the 3rd Round and now I did. He had a lot of good striking, I heard he is a phenomenal striker. I tried to take him to the ground and he did do really good defending on the ground. It just took one lucky shot to bring him down and then finish him up with the choke."

"I thought his striking was going to be a little bit overpowering than mine but I guess my size overpowered him on his stand up," said Matsuda.

Toughest Challenge: 

When asked what was his toughest challenge in the fight, Matsuda said, "Staying in control, having good posture and breathing right."

Future: 

Maybe in a couple more months, this is my second fight within this month. I'm thinking of taking three months off and then get back in the cage.
