Bantamweight Title Shot

Pedro Velasco, a member of Team Ramrod out of Gurnee, IL will get a title shot tomorrow when he fights against Dimitrius Williams, a member of Team Top Notch/Carlson Gracie.

The showdown will take place at FCE's Ruthless at the Sundance Saloon in Waukegan, IL.

"I feel really excited about this fight because more people than I anticipated are coming. At first, I thought nobody was really going to show up and I was too busy training so I couldn't really talk to anybody. At first, I was just going to go in there and finish it but now I really want to show the fans what I know," said Velasco.

Velasco also said that his training has been going well and that he has been working on his cardio and also confirmed that he did see William's last fight.

"I wasn't too impressed with his last performance but it did look like he held back a little. I'm not going to hold back but I'm also not going to underestimate him because that's the mistake that I did with my last fight and it got me kicked in the head and punched in the face a couple of times," said Velasco.

Velasco said he is definitely ready for this shot at the Bamtamweight Championship.

"This time I'm definitely not going to hold back. I'm going to go in there explosive and try to end this as quick as I can. I'm ready!," said Velasco.

"I just hope Dimitrius is ready because I am and that way we can give a good performance," said Velasco.
