"GROIN" CONTROVERSY??? WAS OUSLEY'S WIN A CONTROVERSIAL VICTORY???

In the first fight on the night, FCE fans saw a great match between Mike Wojtulewicz and Bryant Ousley.

Wojtulewicz, a member with Team Revolution and Karate Fitness, for the most part- dominated this fight and made this fight a challenge for Ousley.

Ousley, and independent fighter demonstrated his abilities, but at times they didn't seem to be enough to stop the on-charging and commited Wojtulewicz.

After seeing continued action for 2 Rounds, the fight came to a screeching halt when Wojtulewicz landed a shot to the groin, which put Ousley on hold for his entitled "recovery time".

With an already fatigued look on him, Ousley took what fans thought to be a long time to resume the fight, so the fans expressed and yelled their dissapointment.

Ousley's decision to take a long recovery time, while the match was still unfinished and in the last round, really made him lose popularity among the "action-seeking" fans. Once the fight did resume, Wojtulewicz resumed with strikes and kicks for the remainder of the time.

After 3 Rounds, the  fight which for the most part seemed to be won by Wojtulewicz, went to the judges.

In what fans called a controversy-the judges gave Ousley the win by Split Decision.

Many FCE fans were dissapointed, some were even booing Ousley on his way out of the cage and some fans were even yelling negative comments.

So was the judges decision a controversy???

Many fans think so, including Wojtulewicz, which had the following to say, "I won all 3 rounds, except the last round-I kicked him in the groin, I think that is what got him, plus there was a lot of people back there talking negative, so I thought that affected me too."

Towards the end of the fight, Ousley's face had visible damage caused by Wojtulewicz.

"He outmuscled me but I busted his eye open, took him all three rounds and he was tired. He took that extra time just cause I got him in the groin-that extra time he didn't need it. " said Wojtulewicz.

Wojtulewicz said that his toughest challenge was Ousley's strength and watching out for his kicks.

When asked what is next for Wojtulewicz, he said, "Not going to stop until I get the win. The last two were so close. I'm not going to stop until I get that first win."

After the fight, maybe due to the dissapointment of the fans and their comments, Ousley didn't have much to say.

Ousley did say that his toughest challenge against Wojtulewicz was definitely his speed.

Ousley also said that he is definitely going to keep training and come back.

When asked what should  FCE fans expect to see from Ousley the next time he steps into the cage, he said, "A lot smoother of fight, a lot better conditioning."

Ousley also added this message to Wojtulewicz:

"I appreciate him (Wojtulewicz) fighting me, he's a young boy and has a lot of heart. He's only 18 years old and I expect him to do a lot of good shit."

It is often heard in and around the cage, among fans, trainers and fighters-"If you do not want to lose to a decision- knock your opponent out- don't let the fight go to the judges."

Is this fight is an example of that?

So controversial win or not- YOU- the FCE fans and fighters decide.

to mike

the kid fights guys three times his size and still puts on a raw show. he deserves a hell alot for than this, put him in the cage with someone his size and its over with, i seen ousley fight carter and that was sad. i seen mike fight phil and he put up a fight, look who ousley fought and look who mike fought, he gets the tougher opponents and brings hell. young kid has heart and deserves to be in that cage.

Fight

I won this fight..No question.. Fights can go to judges thats why their there. they just have to know how to do there job the right way

To Ousley: You're easily

To Ousley:

You're easily the most deluded person in this amateur game right now if you think you won that fight. Your stand up is sloppy, at best, and your ground game is a joke! Awesome take down defense! (note the HEAVY sarcasm.) Your striking looks like a couple of homo's fighting over anal lube and slapping at one another. You looked winded after all of one round. Yet you expect people to respect you because you won some bullshit split decision? This is just more of the same that I would expect. If you were any sort of a real fighter you would man up and admit that you clearly did not win the fight, at least to anyone who was paying attention. Swallow your ego and get back into the ring with this kid so he can show you, and everyone else the actual outcome of the fight.
