On Friday, those in attendance were shocked match after match. WEED ST. MASSACRE made way to open doors for the underdogs for fighters who were looking to get ahead and other fighters to make their way to title contention.  Both Lt. Heavyweight Maurice Martin and Welterweight Anthony Monahan were standouts for their road to the FCE Championship with having an undefeated record but their next opponents would put a dent in their plans.

Cruiserweight Kent Rexford moved up to the Lt. Heavyweight division to face 2-0 Maurice Martin from Victory Martial Arts.  Rexford came of a win at NO WAY OUT over Ron Concepcion giving him "Knockout of the Night". Kent was looking to get back on track to prove that he is a contender.  Rexford was knocked out in the first round with Team Top Notch's Matt Sassolino last March in his MMA debut. "I told you that my first fight was a fluke, I would take a rematch with Sassolino anytime." Rexford stated after his match. Rexford caught Martin early and Maurice's vision became blurry but continued the match until he thought of his safety where Martin tapped out due to strikes.

Crowd favorite Anthony Monahan from Jeff Neal Jiu Jitsu also came off an undefeated record and fans automatically thought of Monahan to be a future FCE Welterweight Champion but now faced a complete underdog (1-1) Enrique Arroyo from Revolution Fitness.  Both fighters are strong and walk around close to 190lbs to cut to 170lbs but Arroyo seemed strong for Monahan's Jiu Jitsu and mauled his opponent in the cage for the unanimous decision to break Arroyo in the top 5 rankings for Fight Card Entertainment. "Did you like that? I got more" Arroyo stated

Finally, three months in the making, the Lightweight Champion Guillermo Serment has arrived. The latest signing on the Grand Prix and long awaited FCE fighter Serment has all the ingredients to be a Champion but seemed to still be the underdog for the title.  According to FCE polls, Surma gained 76% of the votes as the pick on the new champ. Coming from smaller shows and not being known to being the superstar of the Main Event, Serment cemented himself in another great match with Team Colon's Lance Surma. "I was in the VIP section watching it on the big screen and had to go Cageside because these guys were at war. I didn't want it to end, it was an awesome fight." co-owner Brian Angelo
