In the first fight of the event, Matt Dillon, a member of Team Colon battled it out with Mike Crabbe, a member of Team Red Branch.

Crabbe, fighting out of Marseilles, IL said that he feels that he is being overweighed and thinks he should go down to the 125 weight class.

Although most of this fight was on the ground, Dillon gave Crabbe a set of strikes to the ribs.

Dillon's experience includes high school wrestling, MMA training for 2 years and later coached wrestling for 14 years.

"Feels great. I felt in control the whole time, this guy was a bit lighter than me. I feel that my team prepared me for this fight better than his team prepared him," said Dillon after the fight.

Dillon also mentioned that Team Colon is building a new facility, so Team Colon may not be fighting as much until the new facility is up and running.

Crabbe said, "I'm just being overweighed. I weigh 130 lbs. and these guys are dropping from 150 lbs. to 135 lbs. Most guys when I'm in the bottom, I can underhook them and I can roll them with no problem, but I couldn't even move him. He slipped in a choke and got me."

From now on, Crabbe said he will fight in the 125 lbs. and he is also interested in getting the 125 lb. title, but he knows he has to work his way up to that.

Dillon defeated Crabbe in 1:23 of the 2nd Round.
