At Final Conflict, Julian “Young Blood” Collins, a fighter with Team No Comment suffered a loss by knock out in 1:38 of round 2, due to a flying knee from Tony Ortiz.
Ortiz, who is a member of Team OneTen had engaged Collins in stand-up fight in which two shots to the groin were landed. Collins recovered from the first groin shot and reengaged Ortiz, exchanged strikes and kicks, when shortly thereafter, a second shot to the groin dropped Collins.
Again, Collins recovered but this time Ortiz quickly met Collins and connected a flying knee to the chin, which immediately dropped Collins. The referee stopped the fight and Ortiz got the victory.

Performance
“It didn’t go my way because I didn’t get my hand raised. I prepared for this fight just like any of the other ones. I knew I was going to see the best Tony Ortiz and unfortunately, the best Tony Ortiz trumped the best Julian Collins today,” said Collins.
When asked how did the groin shots affect him, Collins said, “I feel that the knees definitely opened up the game for him and Tony was able to follow up.”
Collins said that he wasn’t too sure where Ortiz connected the flying knee, if the chin or jaw.
“To be honest, I think he caught me in my jaw. Tony has definitely developed his overall game and if anybody deserves to beat me, it is Tony Ortiz. He’s prepped himself and has come a long way,” said Collins.
Final Thoughts
“I just want to thank my teammates for the preparation. I thank the lord for giving me the opportunity for being here and also Fight Card Entertainment for the opportunity,” ended Collins.
