In his second FCE fight, Christian Sanchez, an independent fighter fought against Trevor Rose , a fighter from Team Joliet.

Rose, who made his FCE debut, engaged Sanchez with a few strike exchanges. At times, Sanchez was able to connect with a few strikes and well placed kicks. Rose used his brawler style to counter Sanchez’ attack and when the fight went to the ground, Rose found a way to control the fight.

After 3 Rounds of fighting, Rose defeated Sanchez  by Split Decision: 29-28 Sanchez, 29-28 Rose, 30-27 Rose.

Performance

“I feel disappointed because I didn’t get the victory but it’s ok for me to lose, that way I can get back to my game plan and start working two to three times harder than that. I asked him for a rematch and he said yes, because I definitely want to get back in there and do my best again,” said Sanchez.

Toughest Challenge

“Definitely it was my cardio, that was my major problem. I’m going to go back and work on my cardio and come back and do better next time,” said Sanchez.

When asked if fans can expect to see him back in the cage, Sanchez said, “Oh definitely, I’ll be back. I want my rematch because I want to get back out there and start winning.”

Final Thoughts

“Disculpe mi gente que les quede mal, pero hice lo que pude y voy a hecharle mas ganas la proxima vez,” said Sanchez.
