Last night, Fight Card Entertainment held the press conference for FIGHTCARD43 at the brand new HOLLYWOOD CASINO in Joliet.  Fighters in attendance were Team 110′s Tony Ortiz & Ivan Garcia, Team NO COMMENT’s Julian Collins, Joliet’s very own Albert Cunningham and Lightweight Title Contender Hector Mercado.  The full press conference will be released later today as co-owner Brian Angelo speaks of over 10 fights with an epic Team Fighting Challenge coming to an end and the change of opponent for the Main Event with Hector Mercado Vs. Jason Todd for the Fight Card Entertainment 155lb title.

Brian Angelo’s announcement of the kick off for 2012 is February 16th back in the heart of downtown Chicago at Joe’s Bar.  “Fight Card had a SOLD OUT show this past February at Joe’s, so it’s no secret that we look to duplicate that exact success.” Other news that released yesterday is how FIGHT CARD ENTERTAINMENT is welcoming the pinnacle organization of MMA to Chicago this January 28th, 2012 with the UFC on FOX 2 announcement.  “FightCard will be giving away pairs of tickets to the UFC in January. Finally, Fight Card Entertainment’s return to the pro circuit has been teased with the announcement of “two and possibly three professional events scheduled for 2012″.  Fight Card Entertainment has not done a pro event since 2009 and looks to bring the fights back to the FIGHTCARD fans that they want to see.  No official dates or fighters are in place but you can believe that the loyal and supportive roster on Fight Card Entertainment’s past 5 years will be called to showcase on the grand stage in 2012.
